What is Sulfonic Acid?
Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid (LABSA) is an anionic surfactant composed of a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group. This non-volatile chemical compound is synthesized through the sulfonation process. The raw material LAB (Linear Alkyl Benzene) is produced by alkylation of benzene with n-paraffins, which is then sulfonated with oleum in continuous reactors.
Applications of Sulfonic Acid:
Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid is primarily used in the detergent industry for:
- Laundry powder production
- Liquid laundry detergents
- Dishwashing liquids
- And other cleaning products
Supply: Altin Alish Verish Company is ready to supply high-quality LABSA from Iran.
