Russia Trade Desk Meeting at Tabriz Chamber of Commerce
On Monday, September 7, 2026, a Russia Trade Desk meeting was held at the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, with the participation of government officials, business managers, and economic stakeholders.
The meeting focused on the potential of the Russian market, export development opportunities, the impact of Iran’s Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and opportunities for organizing business delegations. Several sectors were highlighted as having strong export potential to Russia, including food and agricultural products, construction materials and products, polymer and chemical products, trailers, and automotive parts.
The importance of establishing a sustainable presence in Russia’s production and value chains, identifying the capabilities of domestic manufacturers, and complying with the strict standards of the Russian market was also emphasized.
